This Week; Focus On: FOCUS! CAMERA LOCATIONS IN NYC

Our purpose this week is to advance the use of exterior (official and private) camera information in resolving potential litigation matters. We are all well aware of the traffic cameras the DOT has kindly installed in locations throughout the City. Shortly, we'll be updating our website with NYPD camera information as well as those maintained by private entities throughout all 5 boroughs.

For the past several years, checking accident locations, especially in serious or fatal MVAs or other bodily injury incidents, for cameras, is on the investigative checklist of most experienced private detectives. A picture is worth a thousand words and in many cases, thousands of dollars rightfully directed to an injured or wronged victim.

While we are amassing the new 500+ NYPD citywide camera locations, we've noted the traffic camera locations for the borough of Manhattan below. For verification of official and/or private entity cameras within NYC, please fax an order sheet with the accident location and date, and we'll remit results within 24 hours of your request.
